Hello! My name is Diana Soliday and I am so happy to be your child's teacher this year. The 2017-2018 school year will mark my 21st year of teaching! I grew up in Omak and knew I wanted to pursue a career in education when I started teaching ELL night school classes my senior year of high school. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Education at Eastern Washington University where I majored in Reading instruction. I later earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction through City University.
I moved to Manson in 2000 after Brad Soliday and I were married. We love being part of a small town community and feel very fortunate to be raising our three children here, in Manson. In my spare time I enjoy reading, photography, painting old furniture and being with family.
I am passionate about educating the whole child. In second grade we learn math, reading, writing, science, and social studies, but also about choosing our attitude, doing our best, and how to be a friend to others. It's going to be a great year of learning and growing together!
