Class Assignments: Here’s a list of what’s happening with your class assignments....note the due dates to help you in organizing your time. The last day to turn in assignments is June 11th.
6th Grade Science:
Assignment #1: Turn in “Measurement a Common Language” packet to the drop-off/pick-up area and email me your answers to the “Review and Assessment” questions on page 83-84 and the “Standardized Test Prep” questions on page 85. Due: Friday, April 24.
Assignment #2: Turn in “Technology and Engineering” packet to the drop-off/pick-up area. Read pages 86-117. Email me the Review and Assessment questions on page 119-120 and the “Standardized Test Prep” questions on page 121. Due: Friday, May 1.
Assignment #3: Complete and return the Adapted Test packet to the drop off/pick-up area. Due Friday, May 22.
Science Fair Project Presentation: Your science fair display board needs to include all of the following items: a title, your question (the one you want your project/experiment to answer), your hypothesis (what you think will happen—in an if…then…statement), experiment data (in some kind of table or graph), a list of materials used, your procedure (the steps you used), and a conclusion (what did the data tell you? Was your hypothesis correct?). Once you have your display board completed, please make a 2-5 minute video presenting your project or you may choose to write a brief summary of your project. In your presentation/summary, you will need to speak to all of these items: the title, the question, your hypothesis, your data, materials, procedure, and a conclusion. Email me your video/summary. Due: Thursday, June 11.
6th Grade Language Arts:
Assignment #1: The Persuasive Letter pre-writing 3-reasons, 3-oppositions, 3-counters. Due: Friday, April 24.
Assignment #2 and #3: The Persuasive Letter, Rough Draft and Final Draft. When you have finished your letter, you can email the document to me or use the drop-off box at the school. Due: Friday, April 24.
Assignment #2: Turn in Spelling Lessons #15 and #16 to the drop-off/pick-up area. Due: Friday, April 24.
Assignment #3: Turn in Spelling Lessons #17 and #18 to the drop-off/pick-up area. Due: Friday, May 1.
Assignment #4: Read Aloud. Finish reading Esperanza Rising and complete the quadrant sheet and turn in to the drop-off box. Due: Friday, May 8.
Assignment #5: Complete Spelling Lessons #19 and #20 to the drop-off/pick-up area. Due: Friday, May 22.

Answer the “Essential Questions” and submit by email ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS · What is the legal status of Indian Tribes as sovereign nations with respect to the United States Government? · How does the sovereignty of tribal nations affect our lives today? Due: Friday, May 8.
Assignment #4: Select “Lesson #3 PDF”. Answer the “Essential Question” and submit by email. ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS · What were the political, economic, demographic and cultural consequences of the Point No Point Treaty? Due: Friday, May 22.
Assignment #5: Select “Lesson #4 PDF”. Answer the “Essential Questions” and submit by email. ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS · What are the ways in which people respond to outside pressures that may pose dangers to the survival of their cultures and independence? · What are the ways Indian people of the Olympic Peninsula responded to outside pressures such as encroaching non-Indian settlement, missionaries, boarding schools, and the reservation system? Due: Friday, June 5th.
4th Grade Math:
Hi 4th Grade Math Students. I am excited to see you all in our Zoom meetings on Tuesdays at 10:00am.
Assignment #1: Do two pages per day in your review packet #1 and #2, and when you are finished please return it to the drop-off area at the elementary school.
Assignment #2: Do two modules in your Practice Book each week.
Daily Work: On scratch paper, work out at least one challenging 3 digit multiplication and one 3 digit subtraction problem each day and check it with a calculator. Keep working on multiplication facts and compete the Review Packets #1 and #2 and return them to the drop-off/pick-up area at the elementary gym.

Middle school check-in days are next week.
Families need to stay in their cars throughout the event. Students will be completing end-of-year check out forms. They will turn in computers, chargers, library books, and band instruments. Library fines and lunch fees can be paid. We will be giving students bags with the contents of their lockers.
Monday, June 8th: 6th and 7th grade students will arrive at staggered times according to the first initial of their last name from 3-7pm. (see schedule for times by last name) 6th and 7th grade START at MIDDLE SCHOOL ENTRANCE
Tuesday, June 9th: 8th grade students will arrive at staggered times according to the first initial of their last name from 3-6pm. (see schedule for times by last name) 8th grade START at BUS LANE by ELEMENTARY

Hola Escuela Intermedia de Manson:
Los días para regresar cosas a la escuela son la próxima semana.
Familias necesitan quedarse en los caros durante el evento. Estudiantes serán los que llenaran las formas de regresar cosas del fin de año. Ellos entregaran las computadoras, los cargadores, libros de la biblioteca, e instrumentos de la banda. Las multas de la biblioteca o sus cuentas de la comida podrán ser pagadas ese día. Les estaremos dando bolsas a los estudiantes con sus cosas que tenían en sus lockers.
