Hello

  • Hi,

I am Mrs. Lindert and I teach fourth grade at Manson Elementary. I grew up in the town of Clarkston on the eastern boundry of Washington. I have two sisters and one brother. Each of them has two children and one has eight grandchildren. We are a big, loving, crazy family and it can get a bit hectic when we all get together. I am very close to my family and love spending holidays with them, especially Christmas. (Doesn't my dad look like Santa?)My dad

I attended Lewis Clark State College after graduating high school and received my BA in Elementary Education. I taught for four years before moving to Manson. I love it here and this will be my 25th year at Manson. I thoroughly enjoy fourth graders and the content we study. I am constantly trying to improve and learn more to benefit my students. I also try and incorporate music, art and drama into my classroom as they are a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing them with my students. My mother is an artist and shared her love of visual arts with me. My cousin danced on broadway and then directed civic theater for many years. He taught me to love drama, especially musicals. When I bring these areas into the classroom I am often the one learning about creativity as my students express themselves in such unique ways.

My first year here at Manson I met Stan Lindert at the blueberry pancake feed in Chelan. We married that summer and five years later our daughter, Rosellyn was born. She will graduate this year from Manson High School. We love our community and our school. Mr. Lindert is moving to the high school this year as head custodian after many years at the elementary. We are a Manson School District family!Mickey & Rosellyn

My family and I love to travel. We are extra fond of the ocean. We try and make a visit to the Washington coast every summer. My love of the ocean will be evident in my room. I try and surround myself with objects and art that reminds me of the ocean. Its beauty and immenseness refresh me.

I look forward to meeting you.

    Marcella Lindert
