Pledge to Students and their Families: I am fully dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is welcome to all students. My goal for this school year is to successfully mold an individual fitness plan to meet each students' needs while encouraging them to explore, create, manage, and ultimately own their health and well being. When we talk about "Manson Strong" in our gym, we aren't only referring to one's strength physically, but emotionally and cognitively as well.

Professional Experience: During my time at WSU, I worked as a Parks and Recreation Basketball and Volleyball coach, as well as their summer camp coordinator for over 3 years.  During that time I also served as a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor at Washington State University's Recreation Center. After receiving my masters, I worked as an elementary PE teacher (3 years), a JH/HS athletic director (2 years), and a sports science teacher (1 year) under Potlatch School District. There, I also coached volleyball and track for their JH and HS athletics program.

Education: I grew up in Wenatchee, Washington and graduated from WHS in 2007. I went on to be recruited at Washington State University to be on their rowing team. During my time there, I received a B.S. in Kinesiology, a minor in Psychology, and a M.A. in teaching with an emphasis in Physical Education and Health (K-12).

Outside Interests: My three loves include watching or competing in sports, being outside, and spending time with my family. Any combination of these three make me a happy camper! If you have any hiking or camping suggestions around the area, feel free to send them my way.

Personal Information: My husband and I are high school sweethearts and were married in the summer of 2015. We have a Springer Spaniel/Lab mix named Turner, and two cats name Shade and Kamiak. We are expecting a little girl in October of 2016 and plan to name her Jocelyn Rose. Can't wait to dress her up in Manson Blue!
