As a springboard and platform diver herself, Ms. Sorenson was a four-time NCAA All-American, three-time AAU National Champion, and two-time World Champion in her age group. She was nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year in 2009. Ms. Sorenson’s work ethic transfers from the pool into her classroom where she attacks her teaching with the same tenacity as her athletics.

After residing in New England for three decades, Ms. Sorenson moved across the country in search of mountains, fishing and better winter weather! Ms. Sorenson now lives in Manson with her two cats Purrcy and Jasper who much prefer the rural scenery of Manson to the heavy traffic of Boston.
